Cloudy, Cooler, and Some Storms To Our South – Mid Michigan
A steady line of storms has developed just to our south but they are moving to the ESE, so totally missing my area at this time. Our forecast called for a very slight chance of rain, but I’m seeing more rain developing to our west. We have to have a new roof on our house, and the material was delivered yesterday. I’m not sure if rain will damage any of it, especially the plywood sheets. I think it will be okay. My husband said he’ll cover them with plastic just in case. It’ll probably rain for sure now that we don’t want it to.
Our 3 PM temperature is 76°F, the humidity is 72%, and skies are overcast. The dew point is 76°F Winds are from the NNE at 2-7 mph, and visibility is 11 miles. The pressure is 29.94 in and steady. Yesterday’s high was only 78°F and the overnight low was 65°F. Average temps for this date are 82°F / 60°F. According to Weather Underground, our record temps for this date are 108°F / 44°F. Unfortunately, I was unable to find the years that these supposedly occurred. I have lived in Michigan all my life, and never remember it reaching 108°F in my lifetime. Sunrise was at 6:05 AM and sunset will be at 9:17 PM.
