Some Cooler Weather For Mid Michigan
The past three days have been busy for me with two trips to Detroit which took up my entire days. At least the weather was good for traveling. Today will be a little cooler, thank heavens. Ninety degree weather is just too hot for me. We have now passed the longest day of the year, and we can look forward to a little less daylight each day. I, for one, don’t like it being light out until 10 PM, so this is fine with me. After all the rain that we were getting, now everything is too dry with no substantial rain in over a week. With these hot temperatures, everyone’s lawns are turning brown. At least we won’t have to mow as often. We did get a sparse shower last night, but it only dropped 0.05″ of rain. That was barely enough to dampen the deck, and our upcoming forecasts don’t mention much rain. Last year, we hardly got any 90 degree weather and we sure are making up for it this year.
Our 9:30 temperature is 75°F, the humidity is 80%, and the dew point is 69°F. Winds are from the WSW at 3-10 mph, and skies are becoming partly cloudy. The pressure is 29.85 in and steady. Sunrise was at 5:59 AM and sunset will be at 9:20 PM. Yesterday’s high was 88°F and the overnight low was 68°F Average temps for this date are 81°F / 58°F.
