The New Lothrop tornado was first evaluated as an EF0. I think that it will be more like an EF2 after all assessments are done. There were a line of thunderstorms which crossed over the state from the northwest late yesterday leaving 0.62″ of rain in my gauge. Severe TS warnings were issued well into the storm and by that time we could determine that for ourselves. I’m loving this cool weather. It’s just perfect for opening the windows and airing out the house. Highs today should reach the mid to upper 70s and a nice breeze. Our lows last night fell into the 40s in some areas which is really cool for this date. Right now, it is only 71°F and I don’t think it will get much warmer as the day goes on. I can’t believe how quickly this past week has gone. Our weather has been much nicer than at home. It was quite stormy in southern Michigan once again with various severe storm warnings issued. It seems, however, that most was thunder and lightning with very little rain.
