Thunderstorms, Heavy Rain For our Saturday in Mid Michigan
Yesterday was a beautiful day but a rogue thunderstorm moved in shortly after 10 PM last night. It was a small cell which came from the NNW dumping 1.19 inches on us along with a lot of lightning. We were under a severe thunderstorm warning for about half and hour but there was no strong wind or hail. The lightning was frequent but no strikes close by. The Saginaw and Midland areas reported some damage but the storm mellowed quite a bit as it reached our area. We had dense fog early this morning. Highs yesterday reached the upper 80s.
