A Excessive Heat Warning Is In Effect For Michigan
Today will not be the ideal day to be outdoors doing anything. The heat index is expected to be well over 100° and that’s in the shade. I’m seeing some storms moving in off Lake Michigan toward us but future radar images are showing that they will fall apart before reaching us. The National Weather Service says that temperatures will climb in the upper 80s today, and into the mid to upper 90s on Friday and Saturday. Oh please God, don’t let my AC break down! I hope that anyone who has to work outdoors is given plenty of water and breaks, and that people with outdoor pets do the same.
