Windy And Warm In Mid Michigan
Today has been sunny and quite warm. Highs near 80°F were forcasted and that’s what we have. The humidity is quite low making for a beautiful early September day. Winds are quite brisk but it feels good. We did receive a little rain overnight, 0.07″ in my gauge, but it wasn’t enough to water anything. I guess that’s what I’ll be doing tonight. This has been one of the greenest Augusts that I can ever remember. Usually the grass is brown, as are all the fields and even some of the trees. This year it still looks like June with all the rain that we’ve had. Once again, the long term predictions are out for a terrible winter. We’ve heard that now for the past two years and it didn’t happen. I’m hoping that it’s true for this winter also.
Our 4:30 PM temperature is 80°F (27°C), the humidity is 38%, and skies are mostly clear. Winds are from the west at 21 mph, gusting to 30 mph. The pressure is 29.69 in (1005.4 mb) and falling. Visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 75°F (24°C) and the overnight low was 58°F (14°C). Averages are 79°F / 55°F. Sunrise was at 7:04 AM and sunset will be at 8:04 PM.
