Friday Storms Missed Us, But Clouds Remain – Mid Michigan
The only rain that we received on Friday were a few, widespread drops that were barely noticeable. The southern counties and the thumb area of the state had some pretty strong thunderstorms but I haven’t heard of any damage reports. There is certainly an increase in the humidity levels, and for that reason, we have the AC on. I don’t think that we will be seeing much sun today and probably not much, if any, rain either.
Our 9:30 AM temperature is 71.6°F (21°C), the humidity is 80%, and winds are from the west at 8 mph. Skies are mostly cloudy with a little sun peaking through. The pressure is 29.83 in (1009.9 mb) and steady. Visibility is 10 miles. The heat index is 72°F (22°C) and the dew point is 66°F (18°C). Sunrise was at 6:01 AM and sunset will be at 9:10 PM. Yesterday’s high was 82°F (29°C) and the overnight low was 61°F (16°C). The record high for June 30 is 102°F (39°C) set in 1931, and the record low is 40°F (4°C) set in 1965.
