Clear Skies, Cold Temperatures For Our Tuesday – Mid Michigan
What a joy to see the sun this morning and almost no clouds in the sky. Looking out, it almost feels like a warm late autumn day, that is until you step out there. This is expected to be a very chilly week but there are no storm systems approaching anytime soon. Highs will be below average once again, but forecasters are saying that December is expected to be mild in our area. I’ll believe it when I see it.
Our 9:30 AM temperature is 25.5°F (-4°C), the humidity is 72%, and winds are from the NW at 5 mph. That gives us a wind chill of 20°F (-7°C). The pressure is 30.21 in and rising. Yesterday’s high was 39°F (4°C) and the overnight low was 23°F (-5°C). Averages for this date are 37°F / 25°F. The record high for Dec. 4 is 66°F set in 1998, and the record low is -5°F set in 2002.
