A Cloudy, Chilly Eve of Christmas Eve – Mid Michigan
No, we will not have a white Christmas this year and to tell the truth, I don’t really care. I’m hearing rumors of a big snowstorm heading our way for the end of the week, but nothing certain at this time. I guess what will be will be. I hope that the roads are decent for those going out on New year’s Eve although I won’t be one of them. I’m working days that day and only have three day left until I’m done. I’m feeling a little anxiety because my income will be substantially less,, but I’ll just have to adjust.
Our 2:30 PM temperature is 35°F (2°C), the humidity is 84%, and skies are overcast. Winds are from the west at 7 mph giving us a wind chill of 29°F (-2°C). Visibility is 7 miles and the dew point is 31°F (-1°C). Yesterday’s high was 32°F (0°C) and the overnight low was 32°F (0°C). The pressure is 29.99 in (1015.6 mb) and steady. Normals for this date are 33°F / 22°F. I don’t know if anyone noticed but the sun is already setting a few minutes later than it was a week ago. But it is still rising later in the morning. Sunrise was at 8:05 AM and sunset will be at 5:05 PM.
