Winter Storm Gia is moving eastward and will be affecting the nation’s capitol today. The southwest portions of our state received up to 3 inches in various places but nothing here in Mid-Michigan. The forecast for today doesn’t sound too bad although highs will only reach around 30°F. It should become partly sunny by afternoon but winds will still be a factor and will make our day very chilly to be outdoors.
