Back To Winter In Mid Michigan
We had a one-day respite from winter yesterday with highs reaching the low to mid 40s. We lost about half our snow cover but now what is left is hard and crusty. We just had a brief snow squall move through but it didn’t last long enough to accumulate. The winds have picked up once again and that will make it even feel colder. Our snow pack is down to a little less than three inches, but our next 3-4 days should be dry.
Our 9:30 AM temperature is 24.4°F (-4°C), the humidity is 72% and skies are cloudy with light snow. Winds are from the west at 23 mph, gusting to 30 mph. giving us a wind chill of 10°F (-12°F). The pressure is 29.63 in (1003.4 mb) and rising and visibility is 7 miles. The dew point is 18°F (-8°C). Yesterday’s high was 43°F (6°C) and the overnight low was 25°F (-4°C). Sunrise this morning was at 7″34 AM and sunset will be at 6:07 PM.
