A Fairly Mild Friday For Mid Michigan

This will be one of the nicest days that we’ll have for awhile, even though we  aren’t seeing as much sun as what was predicted.  At least it will be dry with very light winds and highs in the mid 30s.  We better enjoy it because we have another polar vortex heading our way for next week.  Highs will only be in the teens for a few day.  I keep hoping that we’ll get some temperatures warm enough to melt some of the ice under the existing snow.  We may not see that until the later half of March.  Normal highs for March 1 should be in the mid 30s.

Our 12:30 PM temperature is 30°F (-1°C), the humidity is 61% and winds are calm.  Skies are mostly cloudy with a little filtered sun showing through.  The dew point is 18°F (-8°C) and visibility is 10 miles.   The pressure is 30.23 in and steady.   Yesterday’s high was 30°F (-1°C) and the overnight low was 5°F (-15°C).  Normal temps for this date are 34°F / 19°F.  Sunrise this morning was at 7:12 PM and sunset tonight will be 6:25 PM.
