A Tranquil Week Expected Ahead – Mid Michigan
After the storms of last Thursday, life goes on as a large group of people with chain saws, trucks and other equipment are there helping to clean up the mess. The final assessment of these storms is that there were four tornadoes total, two here in Shiawassee County and two in Genesee County. They were all EF0s except for the one that hit closest to us. That was rated as an EF2. The upcoming week is looking to be quite nice with no precip in our forecast at this time. But we know how quickly that can change. Every day will be a little warmer right up until next weekend when we should be well into the 50s.
Our 1:45 PM temp is 36°F (2°C), the humidity is 48% and skies are partly cloudy. Winds are from the SE at 7 mph. The wind chill is 30°F (-1°C) and visibility is 10 miles,. The pressure is 30.25 in (1024.4 mb) and steady. The dew point is 19°F (-7°C). Yesterday’s high was 37°F (3°C) and the overnight low was 21°F (-6°C). Averages for this date are 43°F / 27°F.
