Sunday was a miserable day weather-wise. That seemed to be the case for the entire eastern United States. We had a mixed bag of winter precipitation, switching from snow to sleet to rain all day long. Finally it turned to all snow overnight. We had half an inch of snow cover this morning and a total of 0.64″ of water in my rain gauge. 0.14″ of that was melted snow. The southern and eastern states were plagued with strong tornadoes…
Yesterday was beautiful except for a very brisk wind. At least we had normal temperatures and plenty of sun. Today will be a different story. It just started snowing when I got up at 8 AM, then it changed to rain. Now it keeps changing between rain and sleet. We had rain into yesterday morning, then it cleared by afternoon and there was plenty of sun.
