A Cold, Foggy Morning In Northern Michigan
Our morning started out with some sun, but suddenly, I’m seeing fog and no sun. This morning is very chilly and I had to run the furnace for a while. We drove up yesterday through one shower after another, but it ended soon after we got here. I hate setting up in the rain so we were lucky. The campground is very quiet with most of the seasonal people gone, but there are still a few of us diehards who brave the uncertainly of the weather that late September can bring. Today should be quite nice with temps warming up a little later.
Our 9:45 AM temp is 44°F (7°C), the humidity is 100% with fog. winds are calm and the dew point is 44°F (7°F). The pressure is 29.94 in (1914.1 mb). Visibility is less than a mile. Yesterday’s high was 65°F (18C) and the overnight low was 41°F (5°C). Averages for this date are 62°F / 52°F. Sunrise was at 7:27 AM and sunset will be at 7:32 PM.
