Yesterday was not a nice day. It began with drizzle and light sprinkles which left 0.05″ in my rain gauge. Then the wind picked up in the afternoon and 30 mph gusts were not uncommon. Yesterday was quite nice until storms started to brew over the state. We took a trip to a cider mill and bought some donuts and cider. We had four lovely days this week, but every good thing must come to an end. The forecast for the weekend and next week sounds more like November than October. The trees are getting more color everyday, especially the yellows. We haven’t seen many reds yet and I hope they do develop.
