After having winds up to 60 mph in many areas yesterday, many in Mid Michigan are without power today. Thankfully, we aren’t one of them. There was plenty of damage in the Saginaw-Bay City area but Shiawassee County seemed to be spared from the worst of it. Our snow pack is now down to about an inch with the snow cover at about 50%. It’s slowly melting away and I’m not missing it. Our morning is beginning with plenty of sun and fairly mild temperatures. We should see highs today near 40° and that will be a nice change from what we have had.
