Lake Effect Snow Squalls, Intermittent Sun For Our Tuesday.

Today is much colder than the past two days and it really feels like a winter day.  The high made it up to 50°F yesterday and what a difference a day makes.  We did receive about quarter of an inch of rain yesterday before it turned to snow.  There was just a trace on the ground when I got up, but now there is about half an inch with the snow bands that have been passing over us throughout the morning and early afternoon.  Right now the sun is out but I’m seeing more dark clouds approaching from the west.

Our 4 PM temperature is 24°F (-4°C), the humidity is 84% and skies are mostly cloudy.  Winds are from the west at 8 mph and the pressure is 30.07 in (1018.3 mb) and rising.  Visibility is 7 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 51°F (11°C) and the overnight low was 26°F (-3°C). Averages fro this date are 34°F / 24°F.  Sunrise was at 7:56 AM and sunset will be 5:01 PM.
