Not Much Chance Of A White Christmas For Mid Michigan
We woke to a sunny morning and milder temperatures. We could see 50° over the next few days and that pretty much guarantees that we won’t have any snow for Christmas. Right now, there is no precip in the forecast until Christmas Day and it’s rain at that. It does seem a bit strange that the weather has been so dry lately since the past few months have been so wet. In spite of the Farmer’s Almanac telling us that we are going to have a hard, snowy winter, I’m not seeing many signs of that yet. But then, it isn’t officially winter yet either.
Our 10 AM temperature is 28°F (-2°C), the humidity is 69% and the pressure is 30.55 in (1034.6 mb) and rising. Winds are from the east at 7 mph and skies are partly cloudy. Visibility is 10 miles. The wind chill is 21°F (-6 C) and the dew point is 19°F (-7°C). Yesterday’s high was 32°F (0°C) and the overnight low was 24°F (-4°C). Averages for this date are 33°F / 23°F.
