Record Breaking Temps For Late December – Mid Michigan
Yesterday was a record breaker with high temperatures reaching the upper 50s to 60°F. It was sunny a good part of the day, so it was even warmer where the sun was shining. One of our local ski resorts showed people skiing in their shirt sleeves since they had a well-established base and skiing was remarkably good. It will be interesting to see how long this lasts. I know that we’ll have to pay for it at some point.
Our 9:15 AM temperature is 37°F (3°C), the humidity is 88%, and winds are from the SW at 14 mph and the wind chill is 30°F (-1°C). The pressure is 29.93 in (1013.6 mb) and steady.
