It’s A Wet, Dreary, Sort-Of-Warm Sunday In Mid Michigan

It isn’t really warm but still much above average for this date.  After what the Farmers Almanac predicted, everyone was so sure that we were going to be snowed in this winter.  It’s been anything but.  We continue to have about 1.5 in of snow cover at this time, and we’ve been chipping away and the ice pack on our deck.  We finally have most of it broken up so we can shovel it off.  Good riddance.  Seeing the sun would sure be nice but I don’t expect that to happen over the next few days.  I’ll be satisfied with the warmer weather.

Our 11:30 AM temp is 35°F (2°C), the humidity is 94%, and winds are from the SW at 11 mph.  The pressure is 29.54 in (1000.3 mb) and steady.  Skies are cloudy with light drizzle, and visibility is 7 miles.  The dew point is 33°F (1°C).  Yesterday’s high was 35°F (2°C) and the overnight low was 33°F (1°C).  Averages for this date are 26°F/ 13°F.  Sunrise was at 7:57 AM and sunset will be at 5:41 PM (EST).
