A Little Bit Of Winter For Our Tuesday – Mid Michigan
This has been a strange January. Our temperatures have been mild and most precipitation has been rain. Any snow that we have received has been light with little accumulation. In fact, most of our snow cover is now gone. January in Michigan is supposed to be very cold with a lot of snow, and it just hasn’t happened yet this winter. We are a little over a month away from meteorological spring (March 1) and winter has deluded us so far. I hope that we don’t have to pay for it when spring weather is supposed to arrive. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
Our 1:15 PM temperatuer is 33°F (1°C), the humidity is 69%, and skies are cloudy. Winds are from the northwest at 7 mph and the wind chill is 27°F (-3°C). The pressure is 29.80 in (1009.2mb) and steady. Visibility is 10 miles. Yesterday’s high was 36°F (2°C) and the overnight low was 31°F (-1°C). Averages for this date are 27°F / 14°F. Sunrise was at 7:55 AM and sunset will be at 5:43 PM.
