After a mostly sunny day yesterday, clouds have moved in and I don’t expect to see much of the sun today. Regardless, temperatures remain above normal and the year is getting off to a mild start. I know that this will not last, but we’re happy that we aren’t buried in snow at this time. Our Thursday has been better than expected. We were supposed to have mostly clouds skies and highs only in mid 40s. We have seen a lot of sun and temperatures seem to be rising faster than what was expected. The wind is a bit chilly but for an early January day, we certainly can’t complain. After a cold, snowy, blustery New Years Eve day, this morning is partly sunny and the strong winds are gone. We had intermittent snow showers all day yesterday but no great accumulations. Today should be more pleasant although very chilly. I always look forward to the Tournament Of Roses parade on New Years Day, but other than that, we have nothing else going on.
