A Little Snow And Much Colder – Mid Michigan

A Little Snow And Much Colder – Mid Michigan

We woke to a little under an inch of new snow.  Radar is showing more on the way and predictions are for another 1-2 inches by tonight.  Temperatures have taken a plunge and will struggle to make it into the 30s today.  It seems that our long Indian summer / January thaw is over.  We knew it would happen.  Regardless, we sure can’t complain about what winter has dealt us so far.  Originally they said that we could expect 2-4 inches by tonight, but they have downgraded that a little.  I guess we’ll just wait and see.

Our 10 AM temperature is 26°F (-3°C),  the humidity is 77%, and winds are from the north at 4 mph.  The pressure is 29.53 in (1000.0 mb) and steady.  Skies are overcast and visibility is 10 miles. The wind chill is 22°F (-6°C).   Yesterday’s high was 29°F (-2°C) and the overnight low was 21°F (-6°C).  Averages for this date are 28°F / 15°F.  Sunrise was at 7:46 AM and sunset will be at 5:55 PM.
