A Transitional Period For Mid Michigan
After a week of warmer than normal temperatures, there is a strong cold front heading our way which will cool us down quite a bit by Thursday. What’s worse are the winds that are coming with it. We could see gusts near 40 mph tonight, and that will probably destroy a lot of the color that we have. I was hoping that Halloween would be nice this year but that’s starting to be questionable. This morning began with light fog and cloudy skies. The forecast is calling for a little sun but no sign of it yet. We could see thunderstorms later today and tonight.
Our 12 noon temperature is 62F (17C), the humidity is 97%, and winds are from the SE at 9 mph. Visibility is 5 miles. The pressure is 29.75 in (1007.5 mb) and falling. The dew point is 62F (17C). Yesterday’s high was 65F (18C) and the overnight low was 45F (7C). Sunrise was at 7:47 AM and sunset will be at 6:57 PM.
