A Very Wet, Dark Wednesday Morning In Mid Michigan

We had quite a loud thunderstorm overnight that woke me up.  That usually doesn’t happen.  There was 0.41″ in my gauge this morning and it is very windy.  The next few days will be quite warm, then a strong cold front will drop the temperatures below average once again.  The upper peninsula has snow cover already and I’m sure that  makes them happy.  I’m not ready for snow yet although I’m hearing that it is a possibility soon.

Our 9:45 AM temp is 51F (11C), the humidity is 94%, and winds are from the WSW at 4-16 mph.  Skies are overcast.  The dew point is 48F (9C) and the pressure is 29.95 in (1014.2 mb) and rising.  Visibility is 10 miles.  Yesterday’s high was 50F (10C) and the overnight low was 45F (7C).  Average temps for this date are 56F / 41F.  Sunrise was at 7:57 AM and sunset will be at 6:42 PM.
