Light Snow Cover This Morning – Mid Michigan

Light Snow Cover This Morning – Mid Michigan

We received about half an inch of snow overnight and light flurries continue at this time.  Our temperatures today won’t rise much above what they are right now, and more snow is expected tomorrow.  So it looks like our landscape will be white for at least a few days.  We are on the very northern portion of a large winter storm that will dump up to a foot of snow on Ohio and surrounding states.  I’m very happy with the small amounts that we are expected to get.  Local weather gurus are predicting up to two inches for my area.  That’s fine with me.

Our 9:45 AM temperature is 33F (1C), the humidity is 94%, and winds are from the NNW at 4-9 mph.  Skies are overcast with light snow flurries.  Visibility is 7 miles and the dew point is 30F (-1C).   The pressure is 29.61 in (1002.7 mb) and falling.  Yesterday’s high was 53F (12C) and the overnight low was 32F (0C).  Average temps for this date are 38F / 26F.  Sunrise was at 7:47 AM and sunset will be at 5:02 PM.
