Mild, Windy And Dry Weather For Mid Michigan
Our morning began with clear skies but now it has become overcast. A mix of sun and clouds is in our forecast for the next week but no precipitation is mentioned. We know how fast that can change. Regardless, it would be a beautiful day if not for the wind. I guess we should just be happy that we aren’t buried in snow. Any snow that we did have is gone, and I wish that these strong winds would also go away. Yesterday was sunny all day and clear skies overnight displayed a beautiful, bright full moon.
Our extended forecast is not too promising for snow for Christmas but then again, it’s much too early to tell. Our 1 PM temp is 40F (4C), the humidity is 68%, and winds are from the SW at 7-15 mph, gusting to 22 mph. The pressure is 29.86 in (1011.2 mb) and falling. The dew point is 31F (-1C) and visibility is 10 miles. The wind chill is 32F (0C). Yesterday’s high was 46F (8C) and the overnight low was 32F (0C). Averages for this date are 37F / 25F. Sunrise was at 7:50 AM and sunset will be at 5:01 PM.
