A Not So Nice Day In Mid Michigan

We have another gloomy day with temps hovering right near the freezing mark.  The little snow that we had yesterday is now gone and a little mist could be felt when I was outdoors a while ago.  No sun is expected and a mix of rain and snow is a real possibility this afternoon.  Highs in the 40s are expected tomorrow and early next week.  The long range forecast is predicting above-normal temperatures for us right into March.  That would be lovely but wouldn’t mind a little snow for Christmas.  I said a little!

Our 1:45 PM temperature is 35F (2C), the humidity is 85%, and skies are overcast.  The pressure is 29.87 in ( 1011.5 mb) and falling.  The dew point is 30F (-1C).    Winds are from the SE at 4-8 mph and visibility is 10 miles.  The wind chill is 28F (-2C).  Yesterday’s high was 33F (1C) and the overnight low was 28F (-2C).  Averages for this date are 33F / 23F.
