Very Chilly, Windy But Sunny – Mid Michigan

Although today is supposed to be a little warmer than yesterday, it sure doesn’t feel that way yet. it is 33F and winds are out of the southwest at 14 miles an hour, and that makes it feel pretty cold. On the positive side, the sun is out and skies are mostly clear. We can look forward to temperatures in the 50s next week and that is sounding really good right now.  Our snow cover has decreased to about 50% and that continues a little each day.  It should be totally gone next week.

Our 1 PM temperature is 34F (1C), the humidity is 48%, and skies are mostly clear.  Winds are from the SW at 14-21 mph and visibility is 10 miles.  The wind chill is 23F (-5C) and the dew point is 15F (-9C).  The pressure is 29.96 in (1014.6 mb) and falling.  Yesterday’s high was 38F (3C) and the overnight low was 10F (-12C).  Averages fro this date are 34F / 20F.  Sunrise was at 7:11 AM and sunset will be at 6:26 PM.
