Another Blustery But Sunny Day – Mid Michigan
Yesterday was very windy, and it is even more so today. The temperatures are wonderful but who can enjoy it with wind gusts up to 40 mph? Highs made it into the low 70s once again on Wednesday, and we reached a high of 64 earlier today. Now temperatures are starting to fall and with the winds, it will seem bitter, even with temps in the 50s. We did manage to get some rain early this morning, and there was 0.19″ in my gauge. I could hear it pounding against my window since the winds didn’t diminish much overnight. I’m hoping that this will be the last day with these high winds,.
Our 2:15 pm temperature is 59F (15C), the humidity is 43%, and skies are mostly clear. Winds are from the west at 10-22 mph sustained winds and gusting up to 36 mph. The dew point is 37F (3C) and the pressure is 29.72 in (1006.4 mb) and rising. The high yesterday was 72F (22C) and the overnight low was 55F (13C). Averages for this date are 39F / 24F. Sunrise was at 6:55 AM and sunset will be at 6:37 PM.
