First Snowfall Of The Season – Mid Michigan

First Snowfall Of The Season – Mid Michigan

We had a few showers on Saturday which changed to snow overnight.  There was a light covering of snow this morning and it has continued since then.  Forecasts are calling for an inch of snow for us.  I took the picture first thing this morning just as two deer passed through our back yard.  Our back 7 acres has a heavy brush cover for the deer.  My husband keeps trails mowed down so we can walk back there, so seeing deer in our yard is quite common.  We put feed out for them in the dead of winter and I love watching them.

Our 9:15 AM temperature is 33°F (1°C), the humidity is 96%, and skies are overcast with light snow.  Winds are from the south at 2-7  mph, and the pressure is 29.65 in (1004.1 mb) and falling.  The dew point is 32°F (0°C) and visibility is only 1 mile.  Yesterday’s high was 44°F (7°C) and the overnight low was 33°F (1°C).  Sunrise was at 7:27 AM and sunset will be at 5:14 PM.
