A Little Sun Following Another Snow Event – Mid Michigan
Another winter weather advisory was posted yesterday afternoon and we received an additional 3 inches of new snow. Some of what we received Saturday melted but we are still left with 5 inches on the ground. About an hour ago, there was some ground fog forming but it didn’t last long. It was gone as quickly as it developed. Temperatures are supposed to warm up over the next few days, so I expect that this snow won’t last too long.
Our 9:15 AM temp is 28°F (-2°C), the humidity is 99%, and winds are from the ENE at 1-3 mph. Skies are partly cloudy and the dew point is 26°F (-3°C). Visibility is 3 miles. The pressure is 29.78 in (1008.5 mb) and rising. Yesterday’s high was 37°F (3°C), and the overnight low was 28°F (-2°C). Average temps for this date are 38°F / 27°F. Sunrise was at 7:48 AM and sunset will be at 5:04 PM.
