A Sunny, Pleasant Day For Mid Michigan
My sunset picture was from Saturday night, the day of the storms. Stormy days seem to produce some of the most beautiful sunsets. Although we received no severe weather here, the winds did a lot of damage to our state and many lost power. We were lucky. Unfortunately, Kentucky and Tennessee got the worst of it, along with several other states, but that’s the price that is paid for abnormally warm weather this time of year. Thursday will be another with highs expected near 60°F, but hopefully it won’t be so destructive. Local meteorologists are cautiously watching it. Since I no longer have The Weather Channel, my go-to weather guy is Ryan Hall on YouTube. His first impression is that Thursday, although capable of producing some severe weather, won’t be quite as bad as Saturday. But he said that with caution. I hope he’s right.
