Cloudy But Bright In Mid Michigan
We had intermittent snow showers most of our Saturday, and we received about another inch of new snow. We now have 2 inches of snow cover. It’s amazing how much it brightens up the inside of the house. On dreary, snow-less days, we need lights on almost all day. The forecast called for a little sun today, but so far, it hasn’t happened. Our temperature has dropped a few degrees since this morning and I’m having my doubts that our high will reach the low 30s as predicted. This week is expected to be rather quiet weather-wise, and Christmas day should be as well. That’s good because we plan on cooking our meat outdoors.
Our 1 PM temperature is 27°F (-3°C), the humidity is 73%, and winds are from the NE at 3-6 mph. The wind chill is 23°F (-5°C) and the dew point is 19°F (-7°C). The pressure is 30.26 in (1024.7 mb) and steady. Yesterday’s high was 32°F (0°C) and the overnight low was 26°F (-3°C). Average temps for this date are 33°F / 23°F. Sunrise was at 8:03 AM and sunset will be at 5:03 PM.
