Cloudy and Cold – Mid Michigan
We started getting intermittent snow showers around 9 AM and they have continued through the day. What accumulation we had was blown away by the wind. It was only about half an inch. We are expecting a more significant snow event on Tuesday and some are saying that we could get 2-4 inches. Snow lovers are hoping for it. Northern Michigan and the UP are getting it all and that’s fine with me.
Our 2:30 PM temp is 24°F (-4°C), the humidity is 79%. Winds are from the SSW at 6-17 mph giving us a wind chill of 18°F (-8°C). The dew point is 17°F (-8°C). The pressure is 29.80 in (1009.2 mb) and falling. Yesterday’s high was 21°F (-6° C) and the overnight low was 13°F (-11°C). Average temps for this date are 27°F / 14°F.
