Winter Storm Watch For Mid Michigan
All counties west of us have been upgraded to a winter storm warning, so we know for certain that it’s coming. The big question is how much snow we can expect. We seem to be right on the line between the 6-8 inch area, and the 12-14 inch area. Recent forecasts seem to be leaning toward the latter. Regardless, it’s a fact that we are in for a lot of snow We are waiting for the latest computer models information which should be out late this morning or early afternoon. We have to get out shopping before it hits. It is expected to start out as rain tonight, then change to snow. NOAA is forecasting 5 inches tomorrow, and an additional 3 inches on Thursday. But that’s right now. There is still uncertainty as to which direction it will move.
