A Pleasant But Chilly Saturday In Mid Michigan
Today began with plenty of sun, but has been mixed with periods of clouds. Temps this morning were in the low teens when I got up and haven’t warmed up much since then. We knew it would be cold today so we didn’t plan on going out much. We had a quick snow shower yesterday evening which only dropped half an inch of new snow. We have 4.5 inches of snow on the ground at this time. There will be a big warm-up this week so this should all be gone by Monday night. Most of us are hoping that this is winter’s last hurrah.
Our 3 PM temperature is 18F, the humidity is 62%, and skies are mostly cloudy at this time. Winds are from the WNW at 9-18 mph, and the wind chill is 12F. The pressure is 29.83 in and falling and visibility is 11 miles. Sunrise this morning was at 6:54 AM and sunset will be at 6:39 PM. Yesterday’s high was 29F and the overnight low was 7F. Average temps for this date are 40F / 25F.
