Today is quite nice although very cold. Once again, there is an extreme drop in our temperatures with highs today remaining below the freezing mark. This seems to be happening every 3-4 days for us. Just when we think it will warm up and stay there, Mother Nature hits us with another round of cold air from Canada. We keep hoping that every snowstorm will be our last, but we know that won’t happen since this is only early March. …
We have some very warm weather coming for the weekend. Temperatures could even reach 60F if NOAA is correct. Today is starting out with sun although that isn’t supposed to last. There is rain expected for our afternoon and it could possibly be mixed with snow. At least we aren’t expecting any accumulations. Right now, however, it is very pleasant with sun and light breezes. Our first day of spring, meteorologically speaking, is starting out very nice. Skies are mostly cloudy and there is a slight chance of rain, but it does feel like spring. I haven’t seen any robins yet but the red-wind blackbirds are back, and they usually show up about the same time as the robins.
