Feels More Like Winter Than Late April – Mid Michigan
It is now 1:30 pm and our temperatures haven’t even made it into the 40s yet. I don’t think that they are going to. Highs today are expected to reach the low 40s, and if the sun comes out, it just may happen. Regardless, it’s much too cold for April 27. Last year on this date, the temp reached 78°F. Yesterday was also cold and windy, which made it feel even colder. We had a few sprinkles but hardly enough to measure in my gauge. After our very warm weekend, many of the buds are opening on the trees and bushes, but we usually see much more green by late April. The weather this spring has really been crazy.
Our temperature is 36°F, the humidity is 64%, and skies are cloudy. Winds are from the NW at 5-12 mph. The dew point is 21°F and the pressure is 30.10 in and steady. Visibility is 11 miles. Yesterday’s high was 44°F and the overnight low was 30°F. Average temps for this date are 62°F / 41°F. Sunrise was at 6:36 am and sunset will be at 8:32 PM.
