A Lovely Day In Mid Michigan
We have mostly clear skies, light breezes and comfortable temperatures. It’s the perfect day for doing some gardening. I went out and bought more perennials today, as I’m trying to change all my gardens to them so I don’t have to keep replanting every year. I’m getting too old for that and am looking for the easy way out. Friends gave me some peonies last year, and they looked terrible all summer after I planted them. I wasn’t sure that they would resurrect this spring but they did. I’m so happy.
Our 3:15 PM temperature is 64°F, the humidity is 46%, and skies are mostly clear. Winds are from the ENE at 1-7 mph, and the dew point is 45°F. The pressure is 30.17 in and falling, and visibility is 13 miles. Sunrise was at 6:05 AM, and sunset will be at 9:02 PM. Just think, we’re only a month away from the longest day of the year. Yesterday’s high was 59°F and the overnight low was 39°F. Average temps for this date are 68°F / 48°F. Last year on this date, the temps were 80°F / 52°F.
