A Nice Change In Our Weather – Mid Michigan
After a wet, dreary Wednesday, today is bright and sunny but temperatures are below average once again. There is little wind and with the sun, it is very pleasant. I’m hearing predictions of a very snowy winter for our part of the country, and that has come from three different sources. Could they all be wrong? At least, being retired, I don’t have to worry about trying to get to work in a snowstorm. Those days are past, but we still have to deal with the shoveling and snow blowing. We are apparently under the influence of a triple La Nina, and local meteorologist, Mark Toragrossa, explained that it happened back in 1976 and 2001. Both of those years we had hard winters with a lot of snow. I also heard that same prediction from my trusty weather dude, Ryan Hall on YouTube, although he also said that it’s much too early to give a definite forecast like that. The third source was NOAA. Whatever happens, it sounds like it will be an interesting winter.
