Over Three Inches Of Snow To Start The Weekend – Mid Michigan
We had intermittent snow showers all day Thursday, which increased in intensity in the evening. Most of the early snow melted on contact, but heavier showers later in the day started accumulating. Radar is showing more on the way. I’m seeing where parts of New York state got three feet, so I won’t complain. Highs today won’t reach much higher than the freezing mark, so I don’t think that much of it will melt. But the ground is warm so it’s hard to tell. After all, temps were in the 70s just 4 days ago.
Our 10:45 AM temperature is 30°F, the humidity is 81%, and winds are from the WSW at 5-9 mph. The dew point is 23°F and the wind chill is 25°F. The pressure is 29.75 in and steady, and visibility is 10 miles. Sunrise was at 7:32 AM and sunset will be at 5:11 PM. Yesterday’s high was 35°F and the overnight low was 26°F. Average temps for this date are 46°F / 30°F.
