Strong Winds Will Be The Issue Today – Mid Michigan
We are under a high wind warning until 10 pm, with gusts as high as 45 mph possible. This is from the cold front which arrived overnight and caused tornadoes and much wind damage in the south. The winds will be with us through the weekend, from what I understand. There is more warm air heading our way, followed by another cold front, which will keep things unstable for a while. That’s normal for November. Thursday is my shopping day, so I sure hope it’s a bit calmer tomorrow.
Our 11:45 AM temperature is 30°F, the humidity is 70%, and winds are from the west at 21 mph, gusting to 33 mph. The dew point is 20°F and the pressure is 29.61 in and rising. Visibility is 8 miles and the wind chill is 18°F. Sunrise was at 7:47 AM and sunset will be at 5:03 PM. Yesterday’s high was 50°F and the overnight low was 32F. Average temps for this date are 40°F / 27°F.
