Finally, An End To The Storm – Mid Michigan
I’m thinking that it will be a long time before anyone wishes for a white Christmas again. Mother Nature certainly granted our wish but went a bit overboard, especially for those living on the west side of the state. Three days of blizzard conditions is a bit much. We were spared from that but we did get about 6 inches of snow; frigid temperatures and high winds which made salt on the roads useless. Today should see highs reaching the low to mid 20s, so the roadways should become more clear. We are all looking forward to the warm temps that are supposed to get here this weekend.
Our 1 PM temperature is 23°F, the humidity is 83%, and winds are from the west at 4-8 mph. The dew point is 15°F and the pressure is 30.04 in and steady. Skies are overcast with snow flurries. Visibility is 8 miles. Yesterday’s high was 19°F and the overnight low was 13°F. Average temps for this date are 32°F / 20°F. Sunrise was at 8:07 AM and sunset will be at 5:08 PM.
