Another Wet, Foggy Morning In Mid Michigan

Another Wet, Foggy Morning In Mid Michigan

Not much to say in terms of the weather except it’s just more of the same.  In fact, this should be the normal for most of this week.  I just heard an extended forecast for the rest of January, and according to this meteorologist, we can expect above average temperatures but most days will be rainy.  I’m okay with that.   January is considered to be our cloudiest month here in Michigan; it doesn’t seem that this will be an exception.  We had light rain to start our day but it doesn’t seem to be raining at this time.  The radar is showing most to be gone.

Our 1:15 PM temperature is 39°F, the humidity is 96%, and skies are overcast and there is light fog.  The dew point is 37°F and winds are from the NE at 6-11 mph.  Visibility is 1.75 miles and the pressure is 29.65 in and falling.  Yesterday’s high was 41°F and the overnight low was 34°F.  Average temps for this date are 31°F / 18°F.  The record high for January 2 is 59°F and the record low is -10.  Sunrise was at 8:09 AM and sunset will be at 5:15 PM.
