Another Foggy Day In Mid Michigan

Today is foggy once again, and it (the fog) doesn’t seem to be going anywhere.  Visibility is less than a mile and we have had intermittent rain showers most of the morning.  Radar is showing most of the rain to be gone now, but temps will remain mild.  This is probably the last of the 40-50 degree weather for awhile.  The upcoming cooling trend will still bring highs above average, so we really can’t complain.  There is no snow forecasted in our immediate future.

Our 2:30 PM temperature is 42°F, the humidity is 99% and winds are from the west at 2-6 mph.  Skies are cloudy with dense fog, and visibility is only 0.50 miles.  The wind chill is 38°F and the pressure is 29.64 in and steady.  Yesterday’s high was 41°F and the overnight low was 40°F.  Average temps for this date are 31°F / 18°F.  Record temps for Jan. 3 are 61°F / -16°F.    Sunrise was at 8:09 AM and sunset will be at 5:15 PM.
