Light Snow For Our Sunday – Mid Michigan

Light Snow For Our Sunday – Mid Michigan

It actually seems good to see everything covered in white this morning.  We don’t have much snow, under an inch, but enough to brighten up the landscape and get rid of the dreariness.  We have about half an inch at this time, and it is just wet enough to be sticking to all the tree branches.  Our forecast is calling for possibly an inch, and that’s fine.  The birds are all busy at the feeders and I love watching them flutter around, trying to establish their place in line.  Of course, the bigger birds are the dominators.  Highs aren’t expected to rise much above the freezing mark so I hope the snow won’t melt right away.

Our 10:45 AM temperature is 32°F, the humidity is 95%, and skies are cloudy with snow flurries.  Winds are calm and the dew point is 28°F.  Visibility is only 2.5 miles.  The pressure is 29.89 in and steady and our snow cover is about 0.2″.  Yesterday’s high was 33°F and the overnight low was 29°F.  Average temps for this date are 30°F / 15°F.  The record temps for Jan. 21 are 55°F / -13°F.  Sunrise was at 8:02 AM and sunset will be at 5:36 PM.
