Above Average Temps And Plenty Of Sun For Mid Michigan
With the warm temps over the past 2 days, our snow cover has now dwindled to about 10%. With the rain expected tonight and tomorrow, that will probably take care of the rest of it. It feels like a spring day out there but clouds are are starting to move it. Substantial rainfall is expected over the next 24 hours but temperatures are expected to remain mild into the weekend. This was supposed to be a harsh winter for us; with the storm that we had over Christmas, it was quite worrisome. But since that storm, the weather has been unremarkable to say the least. Oh, I know that winter is not over yet and we could still get a good one; but face it, winter is almost done, and any snow that we get won’t last. Once again, our neighboring states got it worse than we did.
Our 3:30 PM temperature is 45°F, the humidity is 62%, and skies are partly cloudy. Winds are from the south at 2-6 mph, and visibility is 14 miles. The dew point is 30°F and the pressure is 30.05 in and falling. Yesterday’s high was 46°F and the overnight low was 28°F. Average temps for this date are 31°F / 15°F, and the records for Feb. 7 are 57°F / -13°F. Sunrise was at 7:45 AM and sunset will be at 5:59 PM.
