Another Day Of Clear Skies For Mid Michigan

This is our second day of totally cloudless skies.  How rare this is for Michigan in  February.  There is no precip in our forecast until Tuesday night, then another major storm is coming across the country.  This is expected to bring the possibility of severe weather on Thursday for the south and Midwest states.  At this time, Michigan seems to be on the northern edge but that can always change.  All the states south of us are getting more winter weather than we are.  We even have one day where highs could reach near 60°F.  I’m still waiting for Mother Nature to slam us with some real winter weather, and I’m afraid that it will happen in March or April.  But what will be will be.

Our 2:45 PM temperature is 53°F, the humidity is 29%, and winds are from the SW at 3-10 mph.  The dew point is 17°F and visibility is 16 miles.  The pressure is 29.83 in and falling.  Yesterday’s high was 46°F and the overnight low was 30°F.  Average temps for this date are 32°F / 16°F.  Record temps for Feb. 11 are 57°F/-8°F.  Sunrise was at 7:40 AM and sunset will be at 6:04 PM.
